Grace Tang (they/them/theirs) is known for their 15 years of expertise in qualitative research, analysis methods, systematic literature reviews, and monitoring and evaluation. Previously, they were leading a comprehensive review of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) literature, creating a detailed spreadsheet that includes an analysis of medicine costs, cost-effectiveness, and patient navigation procedures. They developed semi-structured interview questions to explore the workflow of PrEP providers during their engagement with PrEP patients, which will provide invaluable information on how to optimize patient engagement strategies.
Apart from this, Grace was leading qualitative coding and analysis on projects related to anti-Asian American racism and policy perspectives on the U.S.-Mexico border. They have previously managed data for Aviva Family and Children’s Services, where they contributed to effective planning and strategic decision-making for improving the mental health of over 2,000 youth clients in Los Angeles County.
With a deep commitment to improving policy and health outcomes for marginalized, underserved, and vulnerable populations, Grace is passionate about using their expertise to drive significant policy and systems change.
